The Golden Eagle Danube Express Train

The Superior Deluxe Class on the Golden Eagle Danube Express is the ultimate in luxury European rail accommodation, with four modern en suite cabins per car designed and built in 2017. Each Superior Deluxe cabin includes a full-length sofa and two chairs, a double wardrobe, WiFi access, individually controlled air-conditioning, USB ports, power sockets, a personal safe, and a bathroom with a shower cubicle. At night, your attendant converts the sofa into a UK-standard king size bed. Two picture windows, one of which opens, bring light and air into your private retreat.

The Deluxe Class on the Golden Eagle Danube Express features newly designed, en suite, air-conditioned cabins that pair luxury with utility. Each cabin is furnished with two daytime armchairs, a freestanding chair, a table, power sockets, a wardrobe with a safe, and two windows, one of which opens. Your attendant converts the two armchairs into comfortable twin beds for nighttime use. The bathroom has a shower, a range of toiletries, a hair dryer, and a heated towel rack.

The first and last nights of most tours are spent in well-appointed four- and five-star hotels. Some tours feature additional hotel nights. Meals feature European cuisine complemented by a selection of European wines.

The bar/lounge car is a social hub of the train where passengers can relax in a comfortable setting, enjoy a drink, and gather with one another around the piano.
