Ride the Golden Eagle Trans-Siberian Express private train with luxurious en-suite cabins on its way through the dramatic landscapes of Mongolia, Siberia and the Russian Far East. Board at UlaanBaatar on the Mongolian steppe and glide through the taiga of Siberia to the formerly restricted naval city of Vladivostok on the Pacific Rim.

Days 1-2: UlaanBaatar

Arriving in UlaanBaatar, transfer to a premier hotel for the night. Pay a visit to the Gandan Monastery, Mongolia's most important, and to the Natural History Museum, displaying dinosaur bones and nests discovered in the Gobi Desert. Board the train in time for dinner as it heads to Russia.

Days 3-5: Aboard the Train

Relax deeply and enjoy the onboard services as Siberia at its most remote and mysterious unfolds and the train enters the region of permafrost. Following the Shilka and Amur River, the route traces the Chinese border and reaches the most easterly point of the journey passing through Khabarovsk.

Days 6-7: Vladivostok

Over the years, Vladivostok, capital of the Russian Far East, has grown from a naval outpost to a thriving port city. A tour includes the railway station, built in 1912 and decorated with Socialist-Realist artwork; the Pacific Navy War Memorial with its S-59 submarine; the pre-revolutionary Our Lady Grieving Orthodox Church, dedicated to the victims of the Russo-Japanese war; and the Eagle's Nest observation platform, from which the whole city of Vladivostok and Golden Horn Bay can be admired on a clear day or night. Gather for a farewell dinner to toast a successful journey on the legendary Trans-Siberian Railway.
